INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ WORKSHOP
"Breaking Barriers, Building Momentum Celebrating Progress and Empowerment during Women's Month"
Throughout history, women have shaped society through their essential contributions to culture, science, art, and civil rights. Yet, their voices have not always been heard or fully recognized. In a world which is constantly evolving, finding and asserting an authentic voice remains an act of courage and a redefinition of identity. Breaking Barriers, Building Momentum is an opportunity to reflect on these journeys and celebrate progress by creating a space for dialogue and artistic expression.
The Faculty of Letters, in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts, invites you to this special edition of the event, initiated last year by the former ETA Fulbright lecturer Amy Biederman and continued this year by the current Fulbright lecturer, Haley Stevens. Under the central theme Global Voices, this event highlights the diversity and strength of female expression in cultural and artistic, social and educational, and academic spaces.
